IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Chilton Democratic Party general meeting date has been changed from the 2nd Thursday of each month to the 1st Thursday. Our next meeting will be Thursday, July 2nd, 2026.

(for you locals – it’s the former Helen’s Place where the Chilton County Democratic Club held their meetings and events back in the 1990’s)
Full agenda to be announced, but we will be discussing opportunities to gear up and get out the vote for the critically important November 3rd 2026 Midterm Elections, volunteering to help with the campaign for the Democratic nominee for Governor, Doug Jones, discuss our recent presence at the 2026 Peach Jam Jubilee, and discuss opportunities to serve on Committees and other upcoming events of note. Come join us, and be a part of that process!
All are invited and welcome to attend, regardless of membership status.

Alabama Democratic Secretary Of State candidate Wayne Rogers will also be in attendance at Peach Jam at the Chilton County Democratic Party booth.
And on Saturday, June 27th from 11:00am-1:00pm, we are honored to welcome Doug Jones! (Estimated time of arrival approximately 11:00 am). Doug will spend a couple of hours in our community! Look for the Democratic Party of Chilton County exhibit booth. Arrive as early as possible to grab a T-shirt, yard sign and any other Doug Jones merchandise! We will be taking pictures, so PLEASE make sure you arrive early for a photo op. Most importantly, don’t miss your chance to meet him, ask him the tough questions, or give him a word of encouragement.

It’s about that time folks. Peach Jam Jubilee June 27th featuring Doug Jones! (Estimated time of arrival approximately 11:00 am).

This election is more important than perhaps any state election we’ve seen in recent history.
This is our year. Now is our time to secure the FUTURE of Alabama. Why do you think Tommy Tuberville is trying so hard to stay on the ballot? He is being pushed by the National Republican MAGA Party and Donald Trump. Why? Because they realize how much of an impact it would be if they LOSE Alabama. It’s the domino effect.
Let’s get involved. For once, we need to see ALABAMA lead the charge to change this rigged game. We can. But we MUST want to change it. We all have seen just how far the elite majority party in Montgomery will go to rig the game. Even our own elected Secretary of State Wes Allen is in the fight against Alabama’s constitution.

Greetings fellow Democracy lovers of Chilton County! As you’re aware, we are partnering with the Doug Jones for Alabama campaign.
We’ve already seen an uptick of people reaching out to the local campaign to get on board. It’s encouraging to see the amount of people who want to see change in Montgomery.
But we can’t do any of this without your support!
Our next push is recruiting volunteers to Dial for Doug! It’s a marathon, not a sprint between now and November but we’d like to get as many as possible trained and ready to start dialing. For the first time in over 30 years, Alabama Democrats have a path to victory… Come on friends, are you ready to help make history?

We are searching for a couple of adults (ages 20-25) with a smart phone and a multiple social media accounts to help promote Doug Jones For Alabama at this year’s Peach Jam Jubilee Festival. Our Governor just voided Alabama’s elections!
A Message From Doug Jones:
Our Governor just voided several of Alabama’s primary elections.
Thousands of voters across several counties in Alabama will have their votes thrown out and need to vote again.
People took time off work. They found childcare. They stood in line. They did what every one of us is asked to do in a democracy: they voted. And with a stroke of a pen, our Governor wiped those votes away.
We can’t let this stand. It does not matter whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, or neither. It does not matter who you supported in those races. What matters is that Alabamians cast ballots, and those ballots were supposed to count.
So this election is about more than the Governor’s office. It’s about whether the people of Alabama get to have elections at all. Cause if we’ve got a governor who can simply cancel elections she doesn’t like, what guarantee do we, the people of Alabama, have that our elections will stand at all?
The only way we can win against this kind of power grab is by winning undeniably. We have to show up everywhere we can: in every town, every county, every district, every church basement, every union hall, every living room, every campus, every neighborhood where folks have been told their voices do not matter. We have to organize so clearly, so loudly, and so completely that no politician in Montgomery can pretend not to hear us.
And to do that, I need your help. So I’m humbly asking you to chip into my campaign. Even $10 goes a long way.
